Mips Air Node™
Mips Air Node is een superlicht en slank helmbeveiligingssysteem dat 10-15 mm beweegt ten opzichte van de energieabsorberende laag van de helm. Dit vermindert de rotatiekrachten die tijdens een impact naar de hersenen worden overgebracht. Mips Air Node is volledig geïntegreerd in de vulling van de helm, is zo licht mogelijk en ontworpen om op elk individueel helmmodel en elke maat te passen, waardoor het vrijwel onzichtbaar is totdat het nodig is.
Magnetic Fidlock®
Magnetische Fidlock®-helmsluitingen zijn intuïtief, knelvrij en kunnen met één hand worden geopend of gesloten – zelfs met handschoenen aan.
Virginia Tech 4 Star Rating
In collaboration with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Virginia Tech Helmet lab tests helmets using the STAR evaluation system. The impact tests evaluate a helmet's ability to reduce linear acceleration and rotational velocity of the head resulting from a range of impacts a cyclist might experience. Helmets with more stars provide a reduction in concussion risk for these impacts, with 4 and 5 star ratings being the most highly recommended. Read more.
